TEFL jobs are available worldwide. Salary, benefits and working conditions do vary from country to country. For some countries a TEFL certification is all you require for securing a teaching position, whether it is for a 12 month contract or some casual classes while you’re passing through on your travels. Having a TEFL qualification is ideal for anyone planning on travelling overseas.
Some countries are now seeking EFL teachers who have a degree plus a TEFL certificate. Through our partnership with Tiger English www.tigerenglish.com we have teaching positions available to candidates who meet the requirements as follows;
South Korea
Contracts:
12 Months with starting dates every month and 4 Week Summer & Winter Camps in January & July/August.
12 Month Package includes:
· Salary ranges from 2.0 - 2.3 million won per month.
· Flights are prepaid in Full by school.
· Accommodation is provided Free of charge for duration of contract.
· Medical Insurance (50%) is paid by school.
· 1 Month's salary as a bonus for completing a 12 month contract.
· Visa is organised by Tiger English and schools.
· Teacher will be met at the airport on arrival.
Summer/Winter Camp packages include:
· Salary is generally 2.4 - 2.5 million won per month.
· Accommodation is provided Free of charge for duration of contract.
· Lunches are usually provided on campus for free.
Requirements:
Candidates must be native English speakers from any of the following seven countries only; Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa. Candidates must also hold a BA/BBS/BSc or equivalent qualification of any discipline and have an outgoing & positive personality.
China
Contracts:
12 Months are the most common contracts available in China. We also have 6 Month contracts (limited number all year round).
· Salary ranges from 4000 – to 10000 RMB per month depending on experience and qualifications.
· Flights may be reimbursements depending on the length of the contract.
· Accommodation is provided Free of charge for duration of contract.
· Visa is organised by school.
Requirements:
Candidates must be native English speakers from any of the following seven countries only; Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa. Candidates must also hold a BA/BBS/BSc or equivalent qualification of any discipline and have an outgoing & positive personality. A TEFL course is the minimum requirement for securing a teaching position & work permit in China.
Japan
Contracts:
12 Months
· Salary ranges from 250,000 - 280,000 yen per month.
· The teacher will normally pay for his/her own airfare to Japan.
· Free Accommodation for Initial training period.
· There is a heavily subsidized Health Plan available.
· Working visas are normally organised before departure.
· Teachers will be met at the airport on arrival when at all possible.
Requirements:
· Be a native speaker of English.
· 12 years of education in the medium of English.
· Be available to attend an interview in requested city (personal interviews are required for all overseas candidates).
· Hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
· Be professional in all aspects of behaviour.
· Be a team-player, flexible, cheerful and energetic.
· Be willing to relocate to Japan.
Vietnam
Contracts:
12 Months
· Salary starts at USD$1000 per month (after tax).
· First 5 nights accommodation in a guesthouse is free while accommodation is arranged.
· School will give you 600USD to pay towards medical insurance.
· Visa is organised by Tiger English and School.
· Teacher will be met at the airport on arrival.
· Free Vietnamese lessons available on request.
Requirements:
Candidates must be native English speakers from any of the following seven countries only; Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa. Candidates must also hold a BA/BBS/BSc or equivalent qualification of any discipline and have an outgoing & positive personality. A CELTA certificate or equivalent level of TEFL training is a key requirement. CELTA training is available on-site in Vietnam if required.
